why i cant donate blood to a white men.
A whiteman fell ill and needed blood to survive. An Ijebu man donated blood to him. He got well and as a mark of appreciation gifted the Ijebu man a car and a house.
After two years the illness relapsed and the white man needed blood once more.
The Ijebu man was contacted and he gladly donated blood again but this time the white man sent him a 'Thank you' letter.
The following dialogue ensued:
Ijebu man: Sir, the first time you were ill, I donated my blood to you and you got well.
White man: Yes, that is true.
Ijebu man: You gave me a car and a house in appreciation.
White man: Yes, that is also true.
Ijebu man: The second time you fell ill, I again donated my blood to you and you also got well.
White man: Yes.
Ijebu man: But this second time you only gave an ordinary 'Thank you' card.
White man: Yes.
Ijebu man: But why sir?
White man: The first time I got well and I gave you a car and a house, that was the white man's blood working in me. The second time I gave you a 'Thank you' card, that was the Ijebu blood you donated working in me.
Enjoy the new week
